Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California
April 2019 – November 2019
Custom Revolution at the Petersen Automotive Museum was MAF Founders Sasha Tcherevkoff and Paul d’Orléans first co-produced museum exhibit, and directly led to the creation of the Motorcycle Arts Foundation. Guest Curated by now MAF President, Paul d’Orléans, our founders supported the coordination of the full exhibition and motorcycle transport, creating an online digital representation of the exhibition, and writing and printing the Custom Revolution catalog.
Custom Revolution – Motorcycle Exhibit
To complement the physical exhibit, the Motorcycle Arts Foundation also designed a digital exhibit for all bikes featured in the exhibit via TheVintagent.com in order to give partial exhibit access to those who cannot visit the exhibit in person and also host additional multi-media such as film pieces submitted by the builders.
In addition, the Motorcycle Arts Foundation also wrote, designed, and printed Custom Revolution souvenir catalogs with the assistance of the Petersen Automotive Museum. These 100+ page catalogs include write-ups on every bike featured in the exhibit, as well as high resolution photography and a brief history of custom motorcycles and the dawn of a new custom motorcycle age.
